Download this FREE Trampoline Safety Flyer for your gym! Download and print it out, then hang it on the wall by the trampolines or tape it to the side pads. Here are the rules to remember to keep your athlete on the right track!
1. Coach On Deck
Only jump when a coach is watching. Obey your Coach!
2. Check Your Trampoline
Make sure nothing is on or under the bed, and that the pads and springs look safe.
3. Grip for Your Flip
Wear trampoline shoes or grip socks so you don’t slip.
4. Dress for Success
Wear tight, athletic clothing — no baggy clothes or jewelry.
5. Follow the Progressions
Only do the skills your coach says, and never skip steps.
6. One at a Time
Only one person on the trampoline at a time.
No double-bouncing. No horseplay.
7. Two Feet, Same Surface
Land with both feet on the same surface. Never land on your head or straight arms. If you lose control, use your safety skills (Freeze, Seat, Belly, Back, Doggie, Candlestick).
8. Jump ON, Not OFF the Trampoline
Stop your bounce first, then step off —
never jump off the frame.
